In this digital era, the highest technology experts are children. By the means of computers, iPod, iPad, joysticks, controllers and smartphones the young generations virtually rule the world. They are able to use every single technological artefact, but do they know what's hidden inside them?
During the electrifying SPACCACHIP workshop at the Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo Da Vinci I.LAB, Paola Mirai invited curious and creative kids to disassemble technological junk in order to discover the human ingeniousness that created them.
With the help of Paola Mirai's team, SPACCACHIP children reassembled the components they liked the most to create new and fabulous sculptures:
At the end of the experience all the children went happily home holding their creation: technological junk lives again in the hands of a new generation!
